Robert-Schumann-week master classes and concert
worldwide by 2010 is the 200th Birthday of German composer Robert Schumann celebrated. On this occasion, the Lithuanian Music and Theatre Academy, organized jointly with the Goethe-Institut Vilnius on 3-6. November, a Robert-Schumann-week.
In this context, perform the Schumann specialist Thomas Bauer (vocals, Germany) and Izumi Kawakatsu (piano accompaniment, Lecturer University of Music Karlsruhe, Germany), master classes for students of the Music and Theatre Academy.

EUROPEANS FOR PEACE funds international projects within the framework of partnerships between schools and/or non-school organisations from Germany and the countries of Central, Eastern and South Eastern Europe and Israel. The programme encourages active engagement of young people in society which is based on historical awareness. The following expenses are paid for by the programme: group travel expenses to the project meetings, accommodation and meals, additional project and fee expenses for specialists and interpreters, in part.
Application to EUROPEANS FOR PEACE is made by submitting a project outline to the topic
"Human Rights in Past and Present" . Deadline for receipt of entries is Jan. 15th, 2011 .
